I first want to talk about customer service. I visit MANY model homes throughout the metroplex and encounter many sales representatives. I want to say Valentine Cardillo was one of the BEST I have ever encountered. He sat down with me and gave me more information than I have ever been offered. There wasn’t one question I asked that he didn’t take seriously. He answered everything on terms I could understand.
I walked out of the Jasmine Model and LOVED the custom upgrades they had on this floor plan. He asked me if I had any questions and I asked him about the green features they proudly display throughout their model homes. This is a generic question I usually ask on my visits. I am normally handed one of Meritage’s company folders that has the answers for me to read. On this visit I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Cardillo informed me that the average electric bill price, PER MONTH on a two story, 4,000 square foot home, like the Jasmine, was ONLY $160.00. I asked him how this was possible. He walked be back into the Jasmine and showed me how this model home had only ONE AC Unit. He showed me the temperature in the attic on a sizziling hot Texas day, was only 85 degrees. The temperature outside on this day was 104 degrees, according to my cell. He showed me the airducts in the attics and said because of the installation these homes are built with will result in low dust.
Mr. Cardillo didn’t sell me on this manufacturer by his quick and witty remarks. He proved to me first hand why he believes in the product he was selling.
On a side note, this floor plan has TWO staircases! You have a grand staircase in the front, and another located near the rear of the house next to the kitchen! I love this option!
