My mother has lived in the Keller area for ten years. It is in a great location; close to almost everything but country adjacent. After you have lived in an area for awhile you find back roads to avoid sitting for ten minutes at that one light…or that road that is always under construction. My mom had foot surgery and she wasn’t allowed to drive for the last two months. Being the wonderful daughter I am, I drove her around to follow up doctor’s appointments and to accomplish errands. On one of our trips to the grocery store I found these homes. I am glad I went back to check them out because they are amazing.
Located in Keller ISD, Woodford sits directly across from the high school. No need to buy your teen a car, they can walk there in less than five minutes. There is also a public library on the other side of the high school. I love being near a library. You would be minutes from a multitude of shopping and dining options like Tanger Outlets, Southlake Town Square and Alliance Town Center. Texas Motor Speedway, DFW airport and Alliance are all nearby as well.
This has been one of my favorite homes that I have seen. There were features that I have not seen in any other home yet and I am a lover of the unusual and unique. One of my favorite parts was the flow from the master bedroom to the garage. When you enter through the garage, you can either go into the living room or into the utilities room, which is huge. You can drop the clothes you were wearing in the laundry and enter your master closet through the laundry room. Grab a towel and your bathrobe and continue into your master bath for a long soak in the beautiful tub. Or, even better for me, take a shower in the unenclosed shower, which I think is my favorite bathroom concept. I have never seen a closet connected to a washroom before and wondered how I have lived all my life without it.
One of the other features I loved was the aesthetics of the upstairs. I like the slight difference in levels, a couple of steps up to a bedroom and a couple of steps down into the media room. Things like that make a home fun for me. Oh, and that staircase? I stood there for a few minutes, imagining all the different family moments that could be captured on film there. From proms to graduations and weddings, that staircase would be a beautiful backdrop. Taking a picture for your family’s Christmas card just got easier.
This house is expansive without being too large. There is space for your family to spread and grow without being crowded. You don’t have to yell at each other if you are sitting on opposite sides of the living room and you don’t have to walk around the kitchen island to touch the other side.
Starting in the $500’s, these homes won’t last long. Contact Texas Pride Realty to snag yours before they are gone. Then you will just have to continue dragging your dirty laundry all the way through your house to the laundry room.
