I have toured many homes, several of them by Toll Brothers. This is one the most amazing homes I have ever seen. Let’s start with location. In the heart of Flower Mound, Creekside at Heritage Park has the comfort of city living combined with the quiet of country living. You are close to I35, 114, DFW Airport, Texas Motor Speedway and the Tanger Outlet Mall. You are also close to Grapevine and Lewisville lakes and 50+ miles of hiking and biking trails.

From the moment you pull up in front of the model, prepare to be amazed. Toll Brothers is known for their attention to detail and the care they put into making your forever home. This development is no exception. You will be stunned at the beauty of the exterior of your new home. Then, you open the door to a grand staircase. It just gets better from there. Floor to ceiling bookshelves in the study allow you to showcase your favorite books, plants or collectibles. This is where my boyfriend and I would fight over space. I would want to display the small bookstore I own and he would want to fill those shelves with his nerd memorabilia, Doctor Who merchandise, Pops and Deadpool stuff. I think he should get the Harry Potter nook under the stairs for that stuff…that’s fair, right?

The kitchen and living areas are exactly what you would expect from Toll Brothers. Spacious but cozy, elegant without being overstated. The baker in me would love to have a kitchen like that. The island would hold the hundreds of individual bags of goodies I make for Christmas gifts (trust me, they are great gifts!). I like having a kitchen where I can cook dinner and keep an eye on my kid or talk to her without yelling through the house. My current apartment has the kitchen as a separate room and talking to someone not in the kitchen is impossible. The master suite is opulent and the master bath is almost the size of my apartment and I’m pretty sure I could live in the bathroom and be happy. The tub alone makes me love this bathroom. The closet is huge, just like the bathtub and shower.

While the downstairs is great, upstairs is really where it’s at. I saw things in this home that I have never seen in any of the homes I have toured. There was a recording studio in one of the bedrooms. That’s right, I said a recording studio. If you have a teenager that wants to be in band (or is in the marching band), this is the perfect house for you. The room is not completely soundproof but it is sound dampened. I shut myself inside and screamed as loud as I could. My partner heard me standing in the bedroom but the sales agent downstairs could not. My mother would have given her left leg for me to have a sound dampened room when I played the trumpet in high school. The neighbors probably would have appreciated it as well.

Another of the bedrooms has a built in playhouse. I wanted to stay and play in that room so bad, and I’m 36. You would never see your kid if they had this room…at least I know I would never see mine. And the media room? Wow. It is tied for my favorite room along with the music room. Not only is it huge, I love the slanted ceilings and the design of the room. I would have movie watching parties all of the time if I owned this home.

Starting in the high $600’s, these homes won’t last long.  Call or Text Bob McCranie, Broker, with Texas Pride Realty at 972-754-0582 for more details on how to buy one of these GREAT new homes.
