The Box Lunch company launched their greatness on October 14, 2015. Pop Culture reatail leaders, Hot Topic, opened the first Box Lunch store in Brea, California. Box Lunch is the sister store to the American retail chain, Hot Topic.

Box Lunch was opened with the idea for it to appeal to a little more mature fan with more sophisticated taste. Box lunch was also opened with the intention to make a positive difference within their community. Box Lunch is a fantastic store where your shopping can make a difference. For every $10 spent, a meal is donated to a person in need. Box Lunch was conceived as a cause-oriented, but for-profit business featuring a broad range of clothing, accessories and home goods for adults and children.

Plenty of stores run holiday efforts promoting charitable causes, but this pop culture retailer has charitable giving built into its business model and brand identity year-round. This is an amazing concept. For every $10 a customer spends at Box Lunch, this retailer donates a portion of the money to providing meals at a local food bank affiliated with the nationwide charity, Feeding America.

The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, working to connect people with food and end hunger. Donors, staff, and volunteers all play an important role in their efforts to end hunger in the United States.

What you can expect when entering a Box Lunch store is fabulous licensed, must have items. Harry Potter sweaters, The Night Before Christmas housewares, Star Wars pillows, Dooney and Bourke purses with Disney characters all over them! Let your inner child jump for joy and have fun while adulting!

Feel good as to where your hard-earned money will be traveling once you make your must have purchase. The portion that goes to Feeding America will not only feed people on the ground, but they also raise awareness of the issue across the country. Feeding America educates the public about the impact of hunger through investment in marketing and communications, advocacy and cutting-edge research.
With multiple stores throughout North Texas, there isnt one reason you shouldn’t do your part in making a difference to conquer hunger in America.
