North Texas has a Beach!

Little Elm has a beach!! Little Elm Park is located on Lake Lewisville in Little Elm, Texas. Located along the western shoreline of Little Elm Park, the public swim beach provides swimmers a safe enclosed sand beach area that does not allow boat traffic.

The address of the park is: 701 W. Eldorado Parkway Little Elm, TX 75068 Little Elm Park Beach has the best sand and is set back in a cove, making it a little à more private. It has a snack bar and grill, along with parking nearby. Boat rentals, fishing, golf, camping, the list goes on and on when it comes to exciting things to do at Lake Lewisville!

The beach has one of the largest open swim areas in North Texas and offers a lot of family fun. There is not a lifeguard on duty, so please be careful and watch your kids while visiting. They do offer life jackets on loan at the beach.

This hidden gem is made up of an artificial sandy beach. The sandy beach offers safe swimming in a dedicated area where boats are not allowed. The swimming area is securely roped off. The sand is soft and clean, good for building as many castles as you want.

Bring your towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, floats, plenty of sunscreen for the hot Texas sun. You may not grill on the portion dedicated to the beach area. Dogs are not allowed on this portion either. The beach does provide a boat ramp located in another part of the park. You may enjoy a sand volleyball court and softball fields. There are clean and well-maintained public restrooms throughout the parking area. If you bring food, you can have a picnic in one of the covered picnic areas with tables. There are also fire pits you can use. DFW Surf rents out bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, surfboard, and skis. They also offer numbers water sport lessons and offer night tours as well. There is something for everyone here!

The beach is an open sand play area and the Town of Little Elm requests users to abide by the following rules listed below:

No lifeguard on duty o Swim at your own risk Swim in designated areas only No outside grills allowed in the park. Please use designated park grills only. No pets on the beach – all pets in the park must be kept on a leash No glass containers Canopy tents must be kept 50 feet from the shoreline No camping tents on beach Overnight camping must be in designated camping areas only and you must obtain a camping permit to camp No fishing from beach and surrounding areas

There is a $10 per vehicle fee per trip into the park, every Saturday and Sunday, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Parking attendants take cash or credit cards onsite. The City of Little Elm also offers a Resident Seasonal Parking Pass for $25 and Non-Resident Seasonal Parking Pass for $75. Purchasing a Little Elm Park Season Parking Pass does not guarantee you a parking spot. Hours of operations: 10 a. m. to 9 p. m. on weekdays and from 10 a. m. to 10 p. m. on weekends. There is plenty of free parking. On weekends, however, the entry fee is $10 per vehicle. They accept cash as well as credit cards. You can purchase seasonal parking passes for residents or non-residents at the Little Elm Recreation Center, 303 Main Street.
