Looking for the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning? Then head to the historic Dallas Farmers Market!
If you have never experienced the Dallas Farmer’s Market get ready to explore a variety of indoor and outdoor vendors. We started off in the Shed where we were able to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers. It felt so great to support the community and discover local finds I can’t find in a regular grocery store. In addition to great produce, the Shed had different food vendors and local craft artisans that are sure to peek your interest.
When heading to the Farmers Market now you will also find an abundance of pumpkins that will help take your fall decorating to the next level. I loved getting to see the different varieties they offered and affordable pricing.
After spending some time outside we decided to cool off inside at the Shops where we explored more vendors and grabbed some refreshments. I loved that you can always find a great spot for lunch at the food hall whether you are heading to the farmers market on the weekend or during the week. In addition to the amazing vendors you can be sure to find fun family friendly events happening at the farmers market. A full list of upcoming events can be found directly on the website as well as the vendors you can hope to see.
Though we were able to easily park, I do suggest arriving early as the market gets quite busy during the weekend. Expect to pay for parking either on-site or at one of the local lots that can paid through an app on your smartphone. Whether you are coming to dine or create your own great meal, you are sure to enjoy the day at the Farmers Market.
