Tommy Bahama Restaurant

Do you need a vacation? Then head to Tommy Bahama to be transported to tropical island paradise. Now, you may be thinking Tommy Bahama…the clothing company? Yes, that Tommy Bahama! Next time you are in the Legacy West area of Plano you will find a dining experience you are sure to come back for.

I was invited to visit this amazing restaurant for a friend’s birthday brunch and was amazed by the delicious fresh seafood, fun themed drinks and good live music. This spot was perfect for Sunday Funday and had me on island time. We started off with a couple of appetizers including their chips and guac and a craft beer cheese dip that was out of this world.

For dinner my party and I all got the blackened fish tacos that were highly recommended by our waiter. I couldn’t believe how fresh the Maui Maui was and finished all three tacos that were served. Along with the generous sized tacos I tried the fried plantains and coconut sauce that was perfect for dipping.

I loved how accommodating this spot was for our group and the entire ambiance transported me of our Texas. Since we were celebrating, we called ahead to order a coconut cake that was creamy, moist and one of the best things I ate all day. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy their outdoor patio space and great happy hour specials.
