Shaka Hawaiian BBQ

This unique Hawaiian barbecue restaurant is quietly nestled along Hwy 121, directly across the street from Scheel’s and Lava Cantina in The Colony.

Shaka Hawaiian BBQ dishes out Hawaiian favorites like slow roasted kalua pork, fresh and crispy shrimp, and fried white fish. Shaka also serves a traditional Hawaiian appetizer, musubi, which consists of a protein of your choice (grilled spam, BBQ chicken, or BBQ beef) served on a block of rice, which is then wrapped in seaweed! The salty soy sauce that comes with each musubi order pairs perfectly with this snack.

In addition to traditional Hawaiian meals, Shaka Hawaiian BBQ offers Asian fusion dishes, such as Japanese chicken katsu, Korean-style Kalbi short ribs, and even curry chicken, so there’s something for everyone! Each plate comes with steamed rice, pasta salad, and veggies.
