Do you like biscuits? This local restaurant needs to be on your list! The Biscuit Bar has several locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I recently went to their restaurant in the Fort Worth Stockyards, and it was absolutely delicious!
The Biscuit Bar in Fort Worth is right down the street from where you can watch daily cattle drives in the Stockyards, making it a great place to enjoy a bite to eat before or after having a classic cowboy experience. This local restaurant says that “everything is better on a biscuit”, and they aren’t wrong! They have a lot to choose from, and of course, everything on their menu is served on a biscuit.
When I stopped by The Biscuit Bar in Fort Worth, I tried the “Fancy Chicken” (southern fried chicken, dill pickles, and house-made fancy sauce) and can’t recommend it enough. It tasted like Whataburger’s Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit…only 10x better! The chicken was so fresh and the dill pickles paired with the house-made fancy sauce really made the flavor pop.
The Biscuit Bar has a lot of other interesting, drool-worthy items to choose from on their menu, too. There’s “The F.A.B.B.” (sweet fig preserves, arugula, crispy bacon, brie), the “Biscuit French Toast” (biscuit dipped in sweet vanilla custard, pan fried golden brown, topped with house-made whipped cream), and the “Pulled Pork” (slow roasted pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and cole slaw), just to name a few. If you’re really hungry, try out “The Rough Night” (southern fried chicken, burger patty, ham, turkey, pulled pork, crispy bacon, tots, cheddar, and house-made sausage gravy).
No matter what you order here, it’s sure to send your taste-buds over the moon. All of it is delicious! Along with their classic biscuit meals, The Biscuit Bar also offer Tater Tots, salads, and savory sweets like “Nanner Puddin’” (fresh bananas, vanilla pudding, ‘Nilla wafers, and house-made whipped cream).
Craving a beer with your biscuit? The bar at this location features rotating draft beer from local DFW breweries. And, if you visit The Biscuit Bar for brunch, you’re in for a treat: Mimosas are only $4.50. If you’re not a fan of mimosas, don’t worry — Their menu also lists a Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise, “Brunch Punch”, “Cereal Sips” and more tasty brunch drinks.
There’s no doubt that there’s a lot to choose from at The Biscuit Bar! After trying the “Fancy Chicken” and enjoying it as much as I did, I’m really excited to go back and enjoy even more menu items from this cool, family-owned restaurant.
Whether you’re in the Fort Worth Stockyards or closer to one of their other locations in Deep Ellum, Arlington, Plano, or Coppell, stop by The Biscuit Bar next time you’re craving something unique and delicious. You won’t be disappointed!
