Taqueria La Ventana

It’s time to enjoy the summer weather with a restaurant that offers great food, drinks and an even better atmosphere. All of this can be found at the newest Taqueria La Ventana restaurant in Mansfield. Located in Downtown Mansfield, this hot spot is surrounded by two other amazing restaurants that share a great patio space.

Upon arrival, you will walk underneath an archway with a sign for “the backyard” and head straight to the bright and colorful building. You will know you’re at the right place by the delicious smells of the fresh meat being prepared and the friendly staff that are ready to take your order. Their menu is no frills, but each item packs bold and delicious flavors. We quickly decided on trying a variety of their tacos, elotes, chips and guac and (of course) margaritas. Since the inside space is compact, they offer you a buzzer so you can grab a seat outside on the patio while you wait for your delicious meal.

We toasted to the beautiful day with our margaritas, and before we knew it, our food was ready to enjoy. We loved how fresh everything was and couldn’t decide on which taco we liked best. We got the steak, shrimp, chicken and pork. All of them had great seasoning, and each was served street style with onions, cilantro and lime. To kick up the heat, I recommend grabbing both the red and green salsa that truly pack a punch. The elotes were hot and had a delicious rich flavor that paired well with our tacos. We loved the margaritas that were the perfect mix of sweet and tart and were served with our choice of salt or tajin rim. These delicious margaritas are also on happy hour special Monday through Friday!

This experience was great and truly lived up to the hype of the other Taqueria La Ventana locations! I am so happy that this spot is so close to me and I can’t wait to head back soon.
