Oldwest Cafe of Arlington

If you’re looking for a place to eat breakfast (often considered the most important meal of the day), this fun western themed restaurant is a must-try. Oldwest Cafe of Arlington serves up flavorful bites and big servings, perfect for your next breakfast or brunch.

The outside of this restaurant does not do justice to the three large dining rooms inside. I knew I was in for a treat when I smelled the delicious cooking coming from the kitchen and saw the line that formed shortly after the restaurant opened. Even though the restaurant was busy by the time we got there, we put our name on the list and only had a short wait before we were seated. Our waitress was prompt to bring us their large menu and drinks. We enjoyed fresh coffee as we looked over Oldwest Cafe’s breakfast and lunch options.

Our party decided to order a little bit of everything, from the lemon blueberry pancakes to the “Stagecoach”, which featured open-faced biscuits smothered in sausage gravy and topped with eggs, jalapeños and cheese. My counterparts enjoyed the sweet and tart blueberry pancakes that were big enough to share, and a traditional cowboy breakfast of eggs, sides and breakfast meat of choice. The food and service were both top notch and made for an enjoyable dining experience. I can’t wait to come back soon to dive into more of their menu.
