Finding a healthy and filling lunch is something that is important to me. I was so excited to discover Crisp & Green while having lunch out as it offered the best of both worlds. Crisp & Green has filling servings at a great price, and it’s healthy. I recommend everyone try this Dallas restaurant.
Located near SMU’s campus, this spot is perfect for university students and Highland Park residents. Even if you are not in the area, I recommend giving Crisp & Green a try because the experience was amazing. I loved that this restaurant offered to-go options as well as plenty of space inside to sit and enjoy your food. Since I had time for a longer lunch, I knew I wanted to grab some space inside to enjoy my meal.
The menu was filled with delicious options that are permanent on the menu in addition to some specialities for the season. The main basis of their cuisine is bowls, salads, and smoothies. I was really hungry and ordered their Fiesta Grain bowl. I couldn’t wait to dive in! My bowl was filled with brown rice, roasted chicken and vegetables, avocado and a jalapeño lime vinaigrette. It was the perfect mix of spice with a fresh flavor that made me feel great about what I was eating.
The bowl was delicious and the friendliness of the staff was amazing. My meal energized me for the rest of my work day and I am already craving returning soon. Whether you are looking for a protein shake or a delicious and filling bowl, I recommend checking out Crisp & Green.
