Eataly Dallas

Get ready to transport yourself to Italy with a trip to this popular hotspot. A grocery store and dining experience all-in-one, you are sure to enjoy Eataly Dallas whether you are looking to shop or eat. Located inside NorthPark Center, this convenient location is great to enjoy for Dallas and surrounding suburb residents alike.

After wanting to try this experience in other cities, but never getting the chance, I couldn’t wait for the Dallas location to open. We arrived early to ensure that it wasn’t too busy and that we could take our time exploring the store and enjoy a meal. When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by the delicious smells of fresh roasted expresso, pasta and delicious bakery items. The quaint music and friendly smiles make the experience even better.

We had checked out Eataly’s restaurants page prior to our visit, and decided to check out LA PIZZA & LA PASTA. While reservations can be made in advance, we didn’t have any problems grabbing a seat for lunch during a weekday. I would recommend a reservation on the weekend or weeknight as it does tend to fill up quickly. After being seated, we took our time to look over the menu and even received recommendations from our waiter. It would be hard to find something on the menu we didn’t like as everything we tasted was truly incredible.

The whole experience brought me back to my trip to Italy. The pasta was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly al dente. The pasta is inspired by the city of Campania, Italy. For my meal, I went with the Bucatini All’amatriciana, which was filled with crispy guanciale, roasted tomatoes, fresh Pecorino Romano, and some chili flakes for spice. The pasta was so savory and rich and definitely a top five meal for me. The atmosphere was truly like being in Europe where we weren’t rushed and got to enjoy our food amongst the company of others.

After dining, we knew we had to try something sweet, so we grabbed some cold gelato that was perfect for a hot summer day. I went with a classic chocolate that was far superior to any ice cream I’ve had before. Everything felt very authentic, from the dining to the shopping in the market. If you are looking to bring Italy home, I recommend grabbing some items from produce, sauces, and even pasta to make your own Italian cuisine at home. If you don’t have time to shop in store, they do also offer online shopping and you can have your groceries delivered fresh to your door.

Spending a day here was an absolute delight! I even noticed that they do offer special events and classes that can be found on their website. So next time you are looking to explore, leave your passport at home and head to Eataly instead.
