Vitruvian Park

Looking for the perfect summer activity? Then look no farther than spending a day or evening at Vitruvian Park. Located in Addison, this spot is a perfect getaway for anyone living in Dallas or north of Dallas.

I decided to check out this spot after hearing about their summer concert series. I wanted to spend some time outside and this was the perfect spot for it. Upon arrival, I couldn’t believe the beauty of this public park and loved that they offered a large parking lot. This park was perfect for enjoying the day outdoors. It was filled with walking paths, a beautiful bridge overlooking a creek, volleyball courts and even an outdoor amphitheater.

Along the walking paths, there was plenty of seating to enjoy the views and rest as well as dog friendly areas and waste bins. I absolutely loved the views as I made my way to the amphitheater and it was a great walk to get some steps in. At the amphitheater, there was venue seating in addition to grassy areas if you wanted to bring your own chairs. They also had several food trucks onsite to enjoy as you listened to the live music. The best part of all? The concert was free to residents and visitors alike.

I set up my chairs and decided to try food from two of the food trucks. It was the perfect evening out and I look forward to coming back soon to enjoy more live music or bring my dog for a blissful walk.
