Working out in a new studio can be intimidating, but this female empowered business will help you to feel part of a community that is supported no matter where you are in your fitness journey. I found all of this and a great sweat at GRIT Fitness in Dallas. Located close to SMU this University Park establishment is perfect to stop by whether you are living in the city of the suburbs.
For my first class I signed up online for their 45 minute Body Sculpt Express. This class combined dumbbell resistance with cardio blocks to give you the best of strength and hiit training. Upon arriving you will find several parking options and walk up the stairs over Barley House to find this cute studio. Once inside the check in process is a breeze and you will be directed to the studio you will be for your class.
While there is numbered spots you are free to choose which space you would like as long as someone else hasn’t set up. I highly recommend arriving early to give yourself enough time to grab your equipment and stretch before your instructor starts promptly on time. You will also give yourself time to put any items away in the cubbies inside the studio and meet your fellow classmates. The class was set to upbeat music and had a variety of colored flashing lights to keep your mood high and ready to enjoy your time.
It was such a fun experience and I loved how encouraging everyone was there from the staff to fellow class attendees. After the class you will have some time to cool down and clean your equipment with the sanitizer they have. So next time you are looking for a fun workout that will truly make you break a sweat I highly recommend checking out a class at this studio.
