Prairie Lakes Golf Course

Whether you are a golf aficionado or a novice finding the perfect course to spend the afternoon is important when testing your skills. As someone new to the game but looking to add to my experience I was so happy to find Prairie Lakes Golf Course. Located near Mountain Creek Lake, this course offers 27 holes and stunning views that you wouldn’t expect in the Texas area. So grab your clubs and get ready to tee off at this great course.

I decided to go with some friends who all varied in experience levels. We checked out their website before heading to the course so that we could arrive by their scheduled tee times. You are welcome to come as a group or solo and meet some other golfers for a day of fun. Prairie Lakes Course consists of three 9-hole courses that range in challenges to test your skills. They also offer junior tees to shorten the distance for younger fans of the sport or if you are new to the game.

Don’t have the equipment you need? Don’t worry because they have you covered with their Pro Shop that has everything you need from apparel to gear. After your stopped by the shop and played a few holes you will have worked up an appetite. Make sure to grab a bite to eat at Eddlemon’s Award-winning Bar-B-Que available onsite. Still not sure if this is the spot for you? They also offer lessons to teach you to love the game or if you are looking for a more personal experience.

As someone new to the sport I truly enjoyed my experience here. The atmosphere was friendly and I loved getting to meet and play with others of all abilities. I was able to take a few lessons with me and enjoy the perfect day at the course.
