Looking for the perfect Tex-Mex restaurant with famous legendary margaritas? Then a trip to Mi Cocina is a must for all living in the DFW area. With multiple locations you are sure to find a spot nearby you. If they are all like the Southlake location, you are in for a treat when it comes to this dining experience.

Situated right off Main St, this restaurant offers plenty of street parking. It’s a great place to stop when doing your holiday shopping in the area and you are in need of delicious food or a tasty cocktail. With the spots popularity, I highly recommend making a reservation or arriving early as there may be a wait. Regardless of the wait, this experience is worth it!

A group of my friends decided to have our holiday celebration here. It was a great meeting spot for all of us across the metroplex and offered comfortable seating and an inviting ambiance. We went during the lunch hour on a weekday and were able to get seated rather quickly. Our waitress was fast to bring us waters and their complimentary chips and salsa while we took a look over their menu. We also grabbed an order of guac and their white queso that both tasted wonderful.

They had a variety of great Tex-Mex options that you would expect in addition to some specialty items. It was hard to choose what I wanted to try, but I finally decided on the Tacos Habana under the lunch specials. This delicious grilled Adobe spiced chicken tacos came with a spicy sauce, fresh lime, cilantro, onions, avocado salad, and rice. It was the perfect portion size and left me full. The flavor of everything was amazing! I truly enjoyed our entire experience and can’t wait to stop by again soon.
