Billy Bob’s Texas

Wanting a quintessential Texas experience? Then you need to check out Billy Bob’s Texas! Located in Fort Worth near the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards needs to be on your list. Known as a country music Honky Tonk, inside this venue you will find live music, dozens of bars, a bull riding arena, and restaurants to enjoy.

Famously known for their variety of country music concerts this venue has so much to offer. We decided to check them out after visiting the long horn steer cattle drive at the Stockyards. While it wasn’t very crowded given it was a Monday afternoon with no concerts, it was the perfect time to explore the venue. We loved getting to check out the dance hall where you can show off your two-step or line dancing skills and they variety of different bars inside.

Getting to walk through the space you will surely work up your appetite for some of their delicious bbq. Their prices were extremely reasonable and we enjoyed their pulled pork sandwiches and smoked meat plates. Everything had a great smokey flavor and competed with some of other bbq favorites in the area.

After getting to enjoy our hearty lunch, we checked out the space that included their hall of fame of famous country star handprints and guitars. It was so cool to see how many artists have played in the space and made us excited to visit a concert in the future.

We also checked out their bull riding space that would be perfect for getting to see a classic rodeo. So grab your cowboy boots and hat and get ready to enjoy some Texas fun at Billy Bob’s.
