CocoAndre Chocolatier & Horchateria

You’d never guess that woman- and Latina-owned chocolatier is quietly tucked away in a quaint residential area within Dallas’s Bishop Arts District. CocoAndre Chocolatier & Horchateria is a family-owned shop operated by Mexican-American mother/daughter duo, Cindy and Andrea. If you’re wanting to enjoy hand-crafted chocolates or sip on a cold, refreshing horchata in this summer heat, you’ve come to the right place.

Cindy and Andrea opened the doors to CocoAndre after both experiencing job losses. They wanted to pursue their passions in chocolate while also providing a safe and inclusive safe for their community, especially BIPOC community members. This mother-daughter team take traditional hand-crafted European truffles and incorporate Mexican flavors. You won’t be disappointed with the unique truffle options inspired by all your favorite Mexican elements. Some flavors include elote, cafe con leche, mezcal, and even mole.

The horchata is just as amazing as their chocolates. You can choose from original horchata, strawberry, matcha, and even a dirty horchata, which contains espresso. Each horchata is topped with whipped cream, making it a perfect summer treat. If you’re wanting to take your horchata to go, they have bottled horchata available, too!
